There are two types of Membership for Organisations:
Free CVS Membership
This form of membership is free to join and open to all third sector organisations operating in Cumbria, including community groups, registered charities, Faith groups and social enterprises. This Membership provides:
- Monthly CVS E-bulletin & Funding Newsletter (one week before non-members!)
- Wider CVS Newsletter options (Action 4 Health, Volunteering etc.)
- Listing in our searchable public 'Members Directory' https://crm.cumbriacvs.org.uk/directory-of-organisations
- Members are added to our interactive 'Membership Map' as well https://crm.cumbriacvs.org.uk/directory-of-organisations-map
- Free Events and networking opportunities organised by Cumbria CVS
- Access to project-funded support services (by geography)
- Access to Members Only website (under construction) content containing:
- Extended development support resources
- Funding searches
- Extended Volunteer Support (Employer Supported Volunteering, CRM system)
- Discounted services (generic training, webinars)
- Access to Online Support Services provided by external partners (GDPR, Safeguarding etc)
- Other resources and support in development
Stakeholder membership
This is a free membership service for CVS stakeholders, typically those from the statutory, health and public sectors. This would provide:
- Stakeholder Newsletter
- E-bulletin
Organisations that can be Stakeholder Members include:
- Town/Parish Council
- Local Government
- NHS
- Private sector organisation
- Consultant
- Funder
- Public Sector Support Organisation (i.e. arms length bodies)
