Maryport Volunteering Fair (Volunteers)

A range of organisations will be present, showcasing their opportunities for you to join them, with chance to ask questions, find out more about their work, and sign up as a volunteer. Discover the wide range of local volunteering opportunities available, when and where volunteers are needed, and how you can become a volunteer.

It’s a fantastic opportunity to speak directly with a large range of organisations about volunteering in and around Maryport!

As a volunteer you will gain so much: whether you are looking to enjoy a new challenge, diversify your skills, widen your social networks, improve your self esteem and confidence, gain a sense of purpose, be a part of your local community, improve your  mental health and wellbeing, make a difference to the lives of others, improve the environment, or take a step towards a new career. Volunteering has something for you.

So join us this November to celebrate and learn about all things volunteering, and make a difference in your community! All are welcome.

Cumbria CVS has confirmed commitment to the “net zero by 2037” target. We would therefore encourage people to car share with colleagues/associates or use public transport if possible.

No need to book, just come along!
