Carlisle College Volunteering Fair

Cumbria CVS is working in partnership with Carlisle College to host a Student Volunteering Fair on Wednesday 26 March 25, from 11am-1pm at Carlisle College, Victoria Place, Carlisle, CA1 1HS (set up for organisations from 10.30am). 

This Student Volunteering Fair aims to attract students interested in finding out more about becoming a volunteer and local volunteering opportunities. This event is just for students only from Carlisle College and not the general public.

By attending the event volunteers will find out more about organisations looking to recruit new volunteers,  the wide range of local volunteering opportunities available, when and where volunteers are needed and how to become a volunteer. We kindly ask that each organisation that attends brings displays, posters, leaflets, information, and application forms to hand out to potential volunteers. We ask organisations to attend for the full event and to talk to any potential new volunteers about:

•          What your organisations does

•          Volunteering opportunities available

•          Time commitment

•          Training and support available

•          How volunteers can register to become a volunteer

Please do remember to make sure your volunteering opportunities are registered and up to date on the Volunteering Portal as we will be encouraging students to register their interest in volunteering here: https://volunteering.cumbriacvs.org.uk

Tea, Coffee and biscuits will be provided but no lunch though there is a canteen on site.

Closing date for bookings is 21 March 2025. Priority bookings will go to organisations registered on the Volunteering Portal and are CVS members.
