How to assess and manage an emergency situation 

CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) 

Safe use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) 

How to help someone who is choking 

Treating external bleeding 

Recognising and managing hypovolaemic shock 

Outcome On successful completion, learners will gain the knowledge and practical skills needed to respond confidently to a range of workplace first aid emergencies. 

Eligibility Statement:
This event is open to any non-profit organisation who delivers some or all of their services to any communities in the former local authority district areas of Allerdale or Copeland.
