This short-informal online session is aimed at anyone who is currently registered on the Volunteering Portal and currently not volunteering or found a volunteering opportunity but would like to find out about using the features of the Volunteering Portal to get started on your journey into volunteering.
This session is an:
Introduction to using the Volunteering Portal (https://volunteering.cumbriacvs.org.u) as an individual wanting to find and register for local volunteering opportunities
The session will cover:
- How to log into to the Volunteering Portal to see and update your Volunteer Profile – and to check out the latest Volunteering News, Events and Volunteering Opportunities in your Inbox
- How to search for local volunteering opportunities
- How to register your interest in volunteering through the Volunteering Portal for your chosen volunteering opportunity
- What a Volunteer Recruitment Process may look like
- The importance of Volunteering Placements feedback
If you are already volunteering, you are welcome to joined to find out but the session is designed to support those that are not currently volunteering.
Limited places available so book early to avoid disappointment.
Eligibility Statement:
This course is exclusively for individuals and organizations within the voluntary sector in Cumbria, this includes charities, community groups, community interest companies, friendly societies, social clubs, many sports clubs, churches and other faith groups, and voluntary organisations.
