University of Cumbria - Student Volunteering Fair

This Student Volunteering Fair will take place on Tuesday 11 February 2025, at University of Cumbria

Time: from 12noon-1.30pm, with the set up of tables for organisations from 11.30am. This event is part of Student Volunteering Week.

This face to face will bring together a range of organisations that are looking to recruit new student volunteers.

By attending the event volunteers will find out more about organisations looking to recruit new volunteers,  the wide range of local volunteering opportunities available, when and where volunteers are needed and how to become a volunteer.

We kindly ask that each organisation that attends brings displays, posters, leaflets, information, and application forms to hand out to potential volunteers. We ask organisations to attend for the full event and to talk to any potential new volunteers about:

• What your organisations does
• Volunteering opportunities available
• Time commitment
• Training and support available
• How volunteers can register to become a volunteer.

 Cumbria CVS members and organisations registered on the Volunteering Portal will be given priority booking. Places will be confirmed after the closing date.
