If your organisation is currently recruiting volunteers in Barrow, you are invited to book a place at the Barrow Volunteering Fair, organised by Cumbria CVS. Set‑up will begin from 10:00am, and each organisation will be provided with a table and chairs to showcase their work and promote available volunteering roles.
By attending the event, the public will have the chance to explore which organisations are seeking new volunteers, the variety of roles on offer, when and where volunteers are needed, and how to get involved.
We kindly ask each participating organisation to bring along displays, posters, leaflets, organisational information and, where possible, application forms to share with potential volunteers. We also ask that organisations stay for the full duration of the event and be prepared to talk with visitors about:
- What your organisation does
- The volunteering opportunities you have available
- Time commitments, and when and where volunteers are needed
- How individuals can register to become a volunteer
