Are you looking to recruit more volunteers in their 50s and beyond?
Would you like some hints and tips to help you to engage and support them better?
This event will give you the confidence to know that your volunteer opportunities are Age-Friendly, and will therefore help you to tap into this pool of potential volunteers.
We will hear about how to create an age-friendly culture, recruit volunteers age-positively, be flexible, assess the physical environment, ensure everyone has the support they need, communicate effectively, and build a respectful and inclusive environment in which all volunteers can flourish.
The session will be delivered in partnership with Age Friendly South Lakeland.

Eligibility Statement
This course is exclusively for individuals and organizations within the voluntary sector in Cumbria, this includes charities, community groups, community interest companies, friendly societies, social clubs, sports clubs, churches and other faith groups, and voluntary organisations.
