Together For Good – Lunch & Learn – Information Update

Together for Good supports third sector, community groups and non-profit organisations to promote opportunities they have where businesses, via their employees, can provide support on a voluntary basis. The organisations must be delivering benefits directly in West Cumberland (former areas of Allerdale and Copeland) to be able to access the services on the platform.

Together For Good is funded by Sellafield Ltd's Social Impact multiplied programme to provide resources that support and strengthen our community organisations. These sessions will provide participants with an:

1. Introduction to the platform and background to its development
2. How to post requests
3. Suitable vs unsuitable requests
4. How to ensure requests are detailed enough to meet volunteer needs
5. Positive stories

The sessions will provide an opportunity to find out more and ask any questions you may have. Organisations need only book one of the 3 sessions as the content will be the same at each. The session in September is an evening session aimed primarily at volunteers with community groups and organisations who work during the day. 

Eligibility Statement:
This course is exclusively for individuals and organisations within the voluntary sector in Cumbria, including charities, community groups, community interest companies, friendly societies, social clubs, many sports clubs, churches and other faith groups, and voluntary organisations. Bookings from those outside this sector may not be accepted. If you are from outside the sector or want to check if you can book a place, please contact  via info@cumbriacvs.org.uk
