 the key principles of best practice in volunteer m
 anagement and how you can implement these to suppo
 rt\, retain and recognise volunteers who support y
 our work and activities. Get top tips\, tools\, te

 u shape effective volunteer management processes i
 n your organisation. </strong></p><p>We know that 
 volunteers are pivotal in helping many local organ
 isations deliver wide ranging support and services
  to local communities and indvidiuals. The 4 sessi
 ons are designed to help you create a positive vol
 unteer journey focusing on developing a sound visi
 on and strategy as well as offering support around
  planning\, volunteer recruitment and ensuring vol
 unteers are supported and recognised. </p><p>The c
 ourse is made up of 4 sessions each lasting 2.5 ho
 urs which are free for VCSE and non-profits. </p><
 p>Session Overview: </p><p><strong>Session 4</stro
 ng></p><p><strong>Supporting and recognising volun
 teers</strong></p><p>Join us for a session packed 
 with tips\, tools and resources which focuses on t
 he importance of supporting and recognising volunt
 eers within your organisation. By the end of the s
 ession\, you will be equipped to lead and support 
 on improving how you both recognise and support vo
 lunteers to ensure a positive and valued experienc
 e. </p><p>The session will cover:</p><ul><li>Why s
 upporting and recognising volunteers is important<
 /li><li>The importance of a good induction process
 </li><li>Building networks for future support</li>
 <li>Different ways of supporting volunteers throug
 hout their volunteering journey and the tools you 
 can use for this</li><li>Tips for recognising and 
 valuing volunteers</li><li>Developing good exit pr
 ocedures for volunteers</li><li> </li></ul><p>The 
 Training is delivered online using Zoom.</p><p>For
  each session you will need:</p><ul><li>Computer o
 r laptop with the ability to use Zoom</li><li>Inte
 rnet</li><li>Pen and paper</li><li> </li></ul><p><
 strong>You don’t have to attend all 4 sessions\, b
 ut we do encourage it if you can as each session b
